About the project

Boaonda® is a long-standing partner of Beatz. Over the years we have worked together, we have achieved important results and achieved true success stories. For example, after just 6 months of work, Beatz contributed to an 89,6% reduction in the company's Cost per Sale.  

This time, our achievements were even more impressive. To give you an idea, in less than 3 months we improved the return on investment in Google Ads for e-commerce by 400%. This is definitely a result that we don’t see every day.

Project Details

The project in question concerns a Google Ads campaign aimed at stimulating sales for boaonda®'s e-commerce. The results obtained were achieved in a short period of less than 3 months, between September and November 2023.

Goals and objectives

The client's main objective was quite simple: to make their digital presence more profitable, within their given profit margin, by making more sales in their e-commerce through paid advertising campaigns on Google.

But like everything in digital marketing, we need to set goals and KPIs – that is, Key Performance Indicators – that make it possible to actually analyze whether or not the strategies are being effective.

Therefore, we set the goal of achieving a 500% return on assets (ROAS) for this action. This means that, of all the resources we would invest for the brand to appear in Google results in a sponsored way, we would have to make enough sales to have a 500% return on that amount.  

It may seem like a bold goal and it really is. But we trust in our strategies and in the fruitful past of the partnership between Beatz and boaonda®.

The strategy

To achieve this goal, we opted for a strategy of focusing on higher-value inventory (advertising space on websites and apps) and advertising more expensive items. This is because many of the brand's keywords have high Cost Per Click (CPC). Therefore, we could not spend money on low-value products.

The work fronts

We work to reach audiences at all stages of the sales funnel. After all, boaonda® has customers, leads and potential customers with whom we could build relationships.

The company’s blog features a variety of articles, which allowed it to create dynamic advertising campaigns (DAS) that directed audiences to these posts. This strategy is especially important for those at the top of the funnel.

In addition, we created a DAS campaign for products that were on sale on the boaonda® e-commerce site, as well as some search network campaigns focused on some premium lines.

Finally, we created a Performance Max campaign with a new inventory, this time focused on the most expensive products.

Strategy Highlights

Seen this way, it may seem simple, but in fact, to apply all these strategies efficiently it was necessary to employ a variety of knowledge and expertise.

Among the main ones is applied market intelligence, a strategy in which we collect, analyze and interpret relevant information to make strategic decisions.

In addition, our routine involved carrying out weekly optimizations on the channels with the highest profitability, so that campaigns with good performance did not enter a learning period.

Why was it a success?

The process was this: applying all our knowledge and experience acquired over the years. But after all, what were the results?

In general, we can say that we reduced investments while increasing performance.

In terms of e-commerce traffic, since we invested less, impressions decreased by about 10%. On the other hand, clicks – which is what we really aim for – increased by approximately 13%, leaving the click-through rate (CTR) at about 8%.

And what are clicks if not the people behind them, who are leads? With our methodology, we turned this traffic into real sales opportunities. The conversion rate increased by more than 247%, which led to a decrease in the cost per conversion by more than 33%.

Conversion rate and cost per conversion

Before taking on the project, the cost per conversion of boaonda® was over R$26. Afterwards, it fell to less than half, reaching around R$12.

Have we reached the goal?

Yes, we hit our target. In fact, we surpassed it by a lot! Our return on assets (ROAS) at the start of the project was around 291%. In November 2023, less than three months later, it settled at 1.312%. That’s an increase of 450%. What’s more, we surpassed our initial target by around 260%.

Speaking of selling…

Translating these numbers into real results. In less than 60 days, the strategies we used made sales quadruple. To give you a brief idea of ​​performance, in November we invested less than R$2 in a specific set of ads, which generated almost R$35 in sales.
